Handbook:
The school handbook has been updated for the 2017/2018 school year. Please review it for procedural updates that you need to be aware of.
Parents of Seniors:
- If your child is going to the Dominican, please begin sending in copies of their passport.
- The last day to order a "Class of 2018" yard sign will be September 1. Click here for the information.
Junior parents:
If you ordered a class ring last school year, Herff Jones will be at Hickory Grove on August 30 during lunch to celebrate with pizza and to pass out the rings. Post cards will be sent home by Herff Jones this week with any outstanding balances. Rings will not be given out with a balance. If you have any questions, please contact Herff Jones directly at 704-531-0015.
Upcoming Events:
- August 24: Curriculum night 5:30 pm. Parents please follow your child's schedule.
- September 1: Last day to order HGCS apparel from the Spirit Store and "Class of 2018" yard sign
- September 4: Labor Day, NO SCHOOL
- September 8: Senior Make-up picture day
- September 14: Chapel (Honors dress required). Please join us in the Worship Center at 9:30 am.
- September 18: Parent Night 6 pm
- September 22: TWD, NO SCHOOL
- September 25-29: Spirit Week
- September 29: Homecoming
