The running of the halls for the Class of 2017 has been changed to Wednesday, May 17 at 1;30.
Chromebook Return/Locker Clean Out
On May 22, students will be turning in their chrome books and chargers so work can be done on them over the summer.Lockers will be cleaned out May 22,
Parents of Athletes
Save the date for this year's Heart of a Champion event with Carolinas Healthcare System! HGCS will participate in the event on June 3rd. This event serves as a FREE sports physical and heart screening, and it is available for student-athletes in grades 9-12. Participants must register online at CarolinasHealthCare.org/Heart-of-a-Champion between May 1st and May 28th. ALL participants must ride the bus from HGCS to the event site--parents may NOT drop off students at the event site. CHS will be releasing our school's arrival and screening time soon.

- May 21 Baccalaureate Service 5:00 pm Family Life Center. Purchase tickets online
- May 22 HGCS Golf Tournament (rescheduled from 4/24 rain out)

- May 24 Last day of school 1/2 day
- May 26 Senior parents can set up Senior display table in gyms A & B (beginning at 7:00 am)
- May 26 Graduation 6:00 pm, Worship Center, reception to follow in gyms A & B
