2019-2020 Student Re-enrollment Update

The 2018-2019 school year Renweb Parent Portal will be closed on June 7, 2019. 

For those parents who have not re-enrolled for the 2019-2020 school year and plan on doing so, you must submit your re-enroll application by Thursday, June 6, 2019.   If you do not plan to re-enroll, please note that June 6 will be the last day that you have access to your Renweb Parent Portal and will be able to print final report cards.  If you have any questions, please contact the Admissions Office at 704-531-3589.

For those parents who have re-enrolled, your 2019-2020 Renweb Parent Portal will re-open on Monday, June 17. 

Year-end Details

• All Chromebooks and chargers must be turned in by May 22. Missing chargers will  incur a $10.00 fee
• All parking tags are due May 20.
• All textbooks must be turned in or a fee will incur.
• Make sure all lunch accounts are current.  You may contact Joan Helms at joanhelms@hgchristian.org if you have any questions.
• Make sure all library books have been returned.

2018-2019 Student Re-enrollment Update

For those parents who have not re-enrolled for the 2018-2019 school year and plan on doing so, you must submit your re-enrollment application by Tuesday, June 5, 2018. If you do not plan to re-enroll, please note that June 5 will be the last day that you have access to your Renweb Parent Portal and will be able to print final report cards. SAVE THE DATE for this year's Heart of a Champion event with Atrium Health (formerly Carolinas Healthcare System)! HGCS will participate in the event on Saturday, June 2nd. This event serves as a FREE sports physical and heart screening, and it is available for rising 9th-12th grade student-athletes.

Participants must register online at CarolinasHealthCare.org/Heart-of-a-Champion between April 30th and May 27th. ALL participants must ride the bus from HGCS to the event site--parents may NOT drop off students at the event site. We will let participants know our school's event time and additional details once they have been announced by Atrium Health.

May 16-17            HS Exams (students dismissed at noon)
May 18                 Parents of seniors may begin decorating their display table beginning at                                 7:00 am in Gyms A and B
May 18                 Last day of school / 1/2 day dismissal / Graduation 6 pm
May 18                 HS students do not come unless they need to make up an exam.
June 1                  Enrollment fee goes up
June 6                  Renweb Parent Portal closes
June 18                Renweb Parent Portal opens to enrolled families
