Report Cards

Report cards will be available for you to view/print from Thursday, October 18 through Friday, November 2
Winter Sports Informational Meeting

There will be a Winter Sports Informational Meeting tonight, Monday, October 15th at 6:30 pm in room 3012 in the basement of the Education Building. All parents and students interested in winter sports at HGCS should attend this meeting for information on each team, tryouts, expectations, requirements, forms, fees, etc.

 Chapel

 This Thursday, October 18 will be our monthly Chapel. Parents are always invited. Chapel begins at 9:30 in the Worship Center. Students are expected to be in Honors Dress. All money collected from the offering will be donated to the Hurricane Florence victims

Week of October 8 2018

Report Cards

 Report cards will be available for you to view/print from Thursday, October 18 through Friday, November 2
PSAT Coming

Please note that the PSAT is October 10 for 8th -11th students only Dismissal will be 12:00 for only 8th-11th graders. There will be no makeup test given if a student is absent.
Students that ride the bus to North Campus will have transportation that day. Students will not eat lunch at school.

Take a Night Off from Cooking

Please join HG at MOOYAH Tuesday, October 9 for a night of not having to cook and supporting the AAA Booster Club fundraiser. The money being raised will support the school.

HGCS Fine Arts Shirts On Sale Now! Sale Extended

The Fine Arts Department and the AAA Booster Club have teamed up to offer a Fine Arts shirt for our students and parents for $20 each. All proceeds will go to the Fine Arts Department. Orders will be accepted through Brushfire. Click here to purchase. Youth sizes, as well as adult, are available. Shirts will be on sale until October 5.

PSAT Coming

Please note that the PSAT is October 10 for 9th-11th-grade students only Seniors do not come to school October 10. Dismissal will be 12:00 for 9th-11th graders. Cafeteria Closed


This Friday, September 28, the cafeteria will be closed. If your child did not purchase a pizza lunch, you will need to pack a non-microwavable lunch, drink, and any utensils they may need to eat with. There will be no food on campus to purchase.



Plan now to have a night free from cooking and join us at MOOYAH for a fundraiser sponsored by our AAA Boosterblub.

Parent Night

Spirit Week


Box top winners:

Thanks to all who collected Box Tops over the summer.  The following students collected the most for their grade. They will each receive a certificate for a Chick-fil-A sandwich.

A special thanks to Jessica Mendlik who turned in the most Box Tops.  She will also receive a second Chick-fil-A sandwich and a 5 dollar gift card to Target.

Our next collection will be in January.  Keep clipping those Box Tops!

Cafeteria Closed

The cafeteria will be closed September 28 due to a church event. Pizza money due by September 25.
